It is no secret in today’s world, images are more prevalent than words, and so are videos. As Adweek eported earlier today, Twitter has extended the time limit on videos in tweets to 140 seconds (it used to be 30 seconds), matching Twitter’s magic number of characters “140” for Tweets.

Furthermore Twitter announced that iOS and Android users will be able to experience those videos full screen.

As the idiom goes if “A picture is worth a thousand words”, imagine what 140 seconds of videos are worth…

Twitter is applying the same extension to its Vine video application for “a small group” of creators, making both Twitter and Vine additional channels for videos content as Facebook videos and Youtube.
